FIXED- Anyone who has this issue should read this.
The issue was the 6-8 prong quick connect/disconnect connector behind the auger had come loose.
We have had this fridge for 3 years, and this is the first time we have had to work on it, so I know we didn't accidentally disconnect it.
I took the motor housing off to test the motor, and it fell out. I thought, hmm, I should have had to disconnect that connector with the tip on it. I immediately plugged it back in, and viola!
The other thing that bothered me in my process was, why would both solenoid and motor go out, unless it was the mother board. Then today, changing the motherboard and it was still not working, I kept thinking, how are both bad? coincidence?
I knew the switch in the front worked, due to the water working, and the solenoid in the door worked to toggle the flap.
Anyway, thanks you two for helping me out. The wife and I were talking, I may not send this board back, just because the version I have is a known issue. I have one on hand if this one dies! LOL.
